Andrés and Christina are the Latin Grammy-winning music duo 123 Andrés. They've been hailed as "Rockstars for little language learners" by the likes of Billboard, and perform for thousands of students and families across the US and Latin America each year, including at Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza, SXSW, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, as well as at countless schools, museums and theaters. Andrés grew up in Bogotá, Colombia, and learned how to play the guitar from his father at an early age. Christina grew up in the Midwest in a Spanish-speaking immigrant family from Colombia. They have 8 studio albums under their belts, and three books published by Scholastic.

Antonio Sacre tells stories.

His tales of growing up bilingually in a Cuban and Irish-American household have inspired children worldwide to gather their own family stories and become storytellers themselves. His stories have been published in award-winning books and audio recordings. His Professional Developments and Keynote addresses have helped educators teach writing to students from pre-Kindergarten through graduate school. Now his stories are being developed for film and television.

He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, two children, and two cats. Yes, he's a cat guy.

También es autor de las series de cómic infantiles Félix y Calcita (Editorial Beascoa) y 4 Cobayas Mutantes (Harper Kids). Junto al guionista Mario Torrecillas publicó la novela gráfica Una pequeña mentira (Astiberri) que fue llevada al cine por Julien Rappeneau. Luis Amavisca es editor y director de arte en NubeOcho, además de escritor de literatura infantil. Licenciado en Musicología y en Historia del arte, realizó el Bienio de formación de la Escuela de los Sentidos de Milán. Sus libros se han publicado en inglés, italiano, francés, chino y coreano. El monstruo más feo del mundo es uno de sus últimos libros de mayor éxito, Pum pum hice daño a la luna, uno de sus favoritos. Margarita Engle

Margarita Engle is the Cuban-American author of many verse novels, memoirs, and picture books, including The Surrender Tree, Enchanted Air, Drum Dream Girl, and Dancing Hands. Awards include a Newbery Honor, Pura Belpré, Golden Kite, Walter, Jane Addams, and NSK Neustadt, among others. Margarita served as the national 2017-2019 Young People’s Poet Laureate. Her most recent books include Your Heart, My Sky, A Song of Frutas, and Light for All. Margarita was born in Los Angeles, but developed a deep attachment to her mother’s homeland during childhood summers with relatives on the island. She studied agronomy and botany along with creative writing, and now lives in central California with her husband.

Ha recibido muchos premios y reconocimientos, entre los cuales se destacan el Premio Américas, Honores Pura Belpré y la prestigiosa Beca Rockefeller sobre Alfabetización Cultural Chicana.

Monica Brown is the Peruvian-American author of many award-winning multicultural books for children, including, Sharuko: El Arqueólogo Peruano /Peruvian Archeologist Julio C. Tello, Frida and her Animalitos, Waiting for the Biblioburro / Esperando al Biblioburro, Marisol McDonald Doesn't Match / No combina, and the Lola Levine chapter book series, among others. Her books have garnered multiple starred reviews and awards, and is available in a dozen languages. Her books have been featured in the New York Times, The Washington Post, and on NPR's All Things Considered. Her most recent picture book is, Small Room, Big Dreams: The Journey of Julián and Joaquin Castro, out from HarperCollins/Quill Tree in an English and Spanish editions. Her next picture book is The Turquoise Room/El Cuarto Turquesa forthcoming from Lee and Low in 2022. Monica Brown lives in Arizona with her family.

Nathalia nació en Barranquilla, Colombia. Terminados sus estudios en su país se trasladó a la ciudad de Boston, Massachusetts para realizar estudios de músico terapia en la prestigiosa Universidad Berklee College of Music. Luego estableció residencia en la ciudad de Los Angeles para desarrollarse profesionalmente, en esta ciudad obtuvo su Maestría en Psicología Clínica, en Antioch University. Su experiencia como musicoterapeuta y educadora de música en la primera infancia la inspiró a utilizar la música como una herramienta educativa para transmitirle a sus hijos los valores culturales de sus raíces, el folclor, y su lengua materna, el español.

Nathalia, a native of Colombia, moved to the US to attend the Berklee College of Music and later began her career as a music therapist and early childhood music educator. Since 2012, she has recorded and released four children’s albums, which were all co-produced and performed by Grammy award-winners. She has been a featured guest on Univision's Despierta America, CBS's The Talk, and her music has been played on a number of parenting blogs and online radio stations. Nathalia’s South American heritage and passion for bilingual education serve as major influences in the music she creates. From Rock to Cumbia, Jazz to Reggaeton, her songs are written in a number of musical styles and produced with the whole family in mind.

Nini has over 15 years experience working as an arts educator at LACMA, which has given her the special opportunity to work with a variety of age groups throughout L.A. County. She is committed to exploring the transformative nature of inclusive project-centered workshops, promoting cultural understanding across diverse communities, and engaging students in personally relevant experiences.

Luego de su formación en teatro y educación diferencial, ha desarrollado una prolífica carrera centrada en la animación lectora y la narración oral, lo que también la ha llevado a trabajar como experta en la asesoría para bibliotecas escolares. Ha publicado más de 15 títulos con diversas editoriales, desde que en 2010 publicara su primer libro, gracias a la adjudicación de un Fondo del Libro. Yehudi currently has a show in development at Nickelodeon, which he is writing and directing. He is showrunning a narrative podcast for the Pinna Network based on his graphic novel Hero Hotel. His highly anticipated middle-grade graphic memoir Chunky was just released. And he has a two book deal with DC Comics.
