The Koreatown Media Lab is a makerspace and business center with high-quality, professional-grade computer hardware, software, and equipment to support library patrons with their educational, entrepreneurial, and creative endeavors.
The Koreatown Media Lab is open for reservations via appointment and for drop-in use. Due to County health restrictions on social distancing, the high level of hands-on support needed, and the fragility of the equipment, not all of our equipment and stations are available.
Appointment hours
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 1 - 5 p.m.
- Saturday Hours: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
(Open the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month only) - Sunday, and City of Los Angeles holidays: Closed

5 seat conference rooms with a screen, keyboard, and Zoom license, setup for especially for video conferencing.
- Available when the lab is open or, with special permission, at other times, based on staff availability
Cricut Explore Air 2
Use this computerized cutting machine to cut designs using your own materials: paper, cardstock, and vinyl.
- Use Cricut Design Space to create your files and a 12x12 mat to cut them.
Epson v600 Perfection Photo Scanner
Scans from photos, film, slides and everyday documents.
