Fall Schedule 2020-21


SAT Preparation Series

In this series, students will take a practice test and will attend a strategy review session on a subsequent day to provide a better understanding of how to improve test scores. Students will also gain access to an online portal to review their score reports, where they will receive detailed feedback and recommendations.

Students will be asked to take their test during this time slot on their own or to complete the test at their own pace before the Strategies sessions.

Paying for College

College is an investment, especially financially, so the cost of college is a typical concern for students and their families. The Princeton Review will provide information on how to make paying for college affordable. Participants will learn about different forms of financial aid, applying for scholarships and how to make smart financial decisions. One hour session.

College 101 - Application Process

Princeton Review staff will discuss college admission requirements and application timelines. Learn the differences between community, four-year colleges, and universities (private, CSUs, UCs, and out of state options). What is Early Admission/Early Decision? Why do they care about your high school GPA and test scores? The one-hour seminar ends with time for questions and answers.

PSAT - What test should I take next?

In this online session, college admission experts will walk students through an analysis of their PSAT score report. They will help figure out which admission test you should focus on (SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests) and how to start creating a testing plan.

SAT vs ACT - Which test is best for me?

Choosing between the ACT®, SAT® is like deciding between Snapchat or Instagram Stories. They’re both going to share a story with your friends, but some people may like one more than the other. In this online session, we will break down each test and give students all the details they need to decide whether they should take the ACT or SAT…or both!
