Description:

Local poet Cesca Brenner offers guidance & inspiration designed to push the inner critic out of the way so you can find your creative self. This generative poetry workshop aims to help build your confidence and skills through observation, drawing on sensory details to enhance and express experiences, and exploring word choice to create musicality and surprising imagery.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
