Join the Friends of Silver Lake Library (FoSLL) Sewing Club and learn the fundamentals of sewing using a machine! All materials provided and no prior experience is required.

Musical Beginnings for Young Composers is taught by Grammy winning instructor Carl Protho and is aimed at children ages 6 to 18.  It offers a comprehensive yet fundamental overview of the components of music composition.

Teen Council is an opportunity to develop leadership skills, meet other teens, and collaborate on other projects all while you earn community service hours. Hang out with friends and play board games, card games, tabletop role-playing games (RPGs), and sometimes even video games! Each month, we'll pick a new game to learn together or revisit old favorites. This program is for ages 11 to 19 years old (still in high school if 19).

Join us for an AI literacy workshop led by a Teen Volunteer! In this workshop, we will introduce the basics of artificial intelligence and explore its presence in our everyday lives. Participants will also learn to recognize AI-related scams and deepfakes, helping them stay safe online.
