StoryWalk®

January 01, 2024 to December 31, 2025

Explore the world, move your body, and read a story at the same time! StoryWalks® are a fun and innovative way to engage young readers and encourage activities that build early literacy skills like talking, reading, singing, writing, and playing.

Find a StoryWalk® near you and follow the pages of a children’s book placed on signs along a trail or path.

Current StoryWalks®

How to Bird by Rasha Hamid at the exterior fence of Elysian Heights Elementary School (1562 Baxter Street, Los Angeles, CA 90026). The closest library is the Echo Park Branch Library thru June 13.

If you have any questions or would like to partner with the library to have a StoryWalk of your own contact: childrens-services@lapl.org
