Author Ericka Sanchez

Ericka Sanchez is a cookbook author, recipe developer, food stylist, and the creator of the award-winning website Nibbles and Feasts. Ericka was born in Torreon Coahuila, Mexico and immigrated with her family to El Paso, Texas at 8 years old. She now lives in Los Angeles. Her background is in marketing and social media, having worked in sports marketing, retail property management and community management for 15 years.

Ericka's website launched in 2010 and revolves around her life as a bicultural Latina living in Los Angeles. It began as a way to catalog recipes and cherished memories in the kitchen with her grandmother and mother in Mexico. Now, her recipe development led her to reconnect with her Mexican roots by developing her own twist on the traditional. Her website and recipes were part of the Babble top 100 food bloggers for 2012 and 2013 and featured in Oprah Daily, Parents Latina, Taste of Home, Eating Well, Cosmopolitan for Latinas, Woman's Day, SHAPE, Food 52, Yummly, Latina, and Simply Recipes. Nibbles and Feasts is also a Tecla Award recipient for 2015 for Best Latino Food Blog. Additionally, Ericka is the author of two cookbooks: Aguas Frescas & Paletas and ¡Buen Provecho! And co-author of !Buenos Dias! A Mexican breakfast book.
