Financial Planning Month
October 1 - October 31, 2024
In today’s uncertain economy, planning for your financial future is more important than ever. Join us for Financial Planning Month, and choose from a variety of programs throughout October to help you reach your goals or get back on track.
Educational Workshops
During the month, there will be an educational workshop presented by a financial professional on investor protection. The workshop will be live-streamed, recorded and available for viewing on the library’s YouTube Channel.
Additionally, there will be an in-person workshop called “Protecting Your Identity and other Assets” in Korean at the Pio - Pico - Koreatown Branch Library.
LA Saves Tabling Events
Throughout the month, there will also be a series of tabling events with financial professionals from the Los Angeles Alliance for Economic Inclusion. The tabling events will focus on encouraging people to pledge to save money and will take place at the Central Library and select branch library locations.
