Mar Vista Branch Library

Walk-in tutoring is available for any adult who needs help with internet searches, filling out forms, English conversation, reading, writing, resumes, and applications, studying for citizenship tests, and basic cell phone and computer use.

Toddlers, babies, and caregivers are welcome to attend a half-hour storytime filled with songs, stories, and other fun playtime activities.

If you are over the age of 50 and would like to practice Tai Chi with a group of friendly folks, the Social-Educational Community of Older and Inclusive Adults (SECOIAs) of Mar Vista is your place to be.

If you need hours for school, are looking to get involved, or your parents are encouraging you to pick up a hobby, check out the Volunteer Club!

Join us every Wednesday for Stand Up Comedy Open Mic! Bring your best material to try out, or just come to enjoy the show. 

Come practice speaking English in a fun and relaxed environment. This class provides a variety of reading materials and engaging topics to help adults feel confident in speaking, reading, and writing.
