Author Loris Lora

Loris Lora is an award-winning Latina Illustrator & Designer from Southern California whose colorful artwork brings a playful approach to everyday life. She draws inspiration from her Mexican upbringing, mid-century illustration and design, pop culture, and bright colors. As a multi-disciplinary artist, she has collaborated with a wide range of clients including: Cameron Kids, Abrams, HarperCollins, Nobrow Press/Flying Eye Books, Crocodile Creek, Google, Target, New York Times and Los Angeles Times. She has received recognition from the Society of Illustrators, the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, and most recently awarded two Pura Belpré Honor for Phenomenal AOC: The Roots and Rise of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (HarperCollins 2023) and May Your Life Be Deliciosa (Cameron Kids/Abrams 2022).
