21st Century Kids: Emerging Designers

What are the qualifications to be a designer? One can argue, people possessing creativity, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to fail, all have the capacity to engage in the design process. Many platforms, fields of study, and products are waiting for the next great design that enhances useability and functionality. The Los Angeles Public Library has a variety of design-related books to support creative thinking and problem-solving. Here is a sampling to explore.
