It’s National Novel Writing Month. Austen did it, Melville did it, Faulkner did it, and you can do it too! Fortunately, writing a novel is a piece of cake. Sure you could do it the hard way as the heavy hitters do.
NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is an annual writing challenge. Participants have the entire month of November to write a novel. What does that translate to? Averaging about 1667 words per day, 50,000 words in 30 days. If maintained, this will produce a 200 page novel.
In conjunction with National Novel Writing Month, the Los Angeles Public Library is proud to spotlight some of our great local authors who have submitted their e-books to our Indie California collection
